Hi all, I have recently done a deployment of approx 20 Windows 7 Pro Bit machines. There are 2 printers, both Kyoceras - a KX and a Taskalpha ci. The latest universal printing drivers have been used.

When the 20 machines were rolled out, the printing which was direct to the printer started to bog down and hang the machines until the print job was complete. This could take up to 20 minutes to render the job. A print servere was put in place running XP pro.

This solved the speed issues but would fall offline all the time and needed to reboot. Yesterday, the XP box was replaced by server to run as a print server. Tips and Warnings. Related Articles.
