I saw those two articles before and unfortunate they did not help. Also, I do not have a raid controller as I was using the software within Windows 7 Ultimate. I was wondering if deleting the missing disk might help but didn't want to without any other opinions. From this screenshot, we could see the failed volume number is 0.

The disk you want to use to replace the bad one is seems disk 1. It seems odd to me that ultimate version would respond with not available. I tried recover command and it said it completed successfully but it didn't seem to change anything.
